Sometimes, being grateful comes easy. At other times, we need some inspiration. So today I wanted to share Gratitude Mad Libs I created that can help you when you’re struggling with gratitude.
Nine months ago, I got a second chance at life when my little sister donated a kidney to me. So each month, I take a day to be grateful for all the wonderful things I have in life. This month, I used the Gratitude Mad Libs tool to put together my gratitude list. Scroll down to download your own copy.
So Much to Be Grateful For
There is so much to be grateful for, if only I choose to see it.
I am grateful for Thai coconut soup and Christmas and baseball.
These simple things bring me joy.
I am grateful for the color green and for when I feel compassion.
I am grateful for my son Bryson and the times we hug.
I am grateful that I can nurture my soul when I read Jonathan Fields and listen to The Smiths.
I am grateful that I am creative. I can imagine a Christmas celebration where Coconut Thai soup is served on golden platters. Everyone I love is there including my son Bryson who dances a jig with a green raven.
I am grateful that life is wonderful, in my imagination and in the here and now.
I am grateful for today.
This gratitude list is especially delightful for me because my son Bryson is in a wheelchair and can’t walk (yet!), let alone dance (with a green raven).
